Job Title: Procurement Associate

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will assist in purchasing goods, collaborate with departments to refine specifications, and secure item/product samples.

They will also perform other functions assigned by superiors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in purchasing goods according to government and university procedures
  • Collaborate with departments to clarify purchase requisitions and accuracy of requests
  • Find new sources of supplies and property
  • Secure item/product samples, photos, and descriptions as required
  • Perform other functions assigned by superiors
Requirements:
  • Curriculum Vitae or Resume
  • Scanned copy or photocopy of credentials (TOR, Diploma, Certificate of Eligibility/Bar or Board Rating/License)

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills

About the Role:

This role is responsible for assisting in the procurement process, collaborating with departments, and securing item/product samples.

The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, be able to multitask and prioritize work, and have exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.

They will also be hardworking, honest, and trustworthy, with the ability to maintain a high level of energy and positive attitude.

Knowledge of basic school equipment, electrical, electronics, computer, and machinery technical specs and classification is also preferred.

Experience in basic knowledge in cavassing and procurement principles is a plus.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of procurement processes and procedures, and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
