Overview

Position Overview: The Procurement Associate supports the procurement team in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services essential for the company's operations. This role involves conducting market research, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring that all procurement activities are aligned with the company's goals and budget constraints. The Procurement Associate will assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of products and services. Additionally, the role requires maintaining accurate records of all procurement transactions and supporting the development of procurement strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performs timely procurement of materials, goods, and supplies according to the Purchaser's specifications
  • Performs periodic performance/ competitive review of suppliers to determine if they meet the company's expectations
  • Continuously sources for alternative suppliers of existing products
  • Ensures prompt and satisfactory service to the company's internal and external customers
  • Prepares monthly purchasing-related reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Candidate must be a graduate of Industrial Engineering, Accounting or any 4-yr Business Course
  • At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, and inventory
  • With strong analytical skills, highly proficient in MS Excel application and has good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deal with people across all levels of the organization
  • Must be amenable to work onsite in Makati
