Job Summary

A Technical Support Specialist will analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer issues in an accurate and timely manner.

They will work with different systems, software, and hardware to follow standard procedures for escalating unresolved issues to internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Second Level Customer Service through Technical Support and Resolution
  • Support customer-facing teams with technical training and documentation
  • Manage L2 Phone and Email Support
  • Handle L2 Ticket and SLA Management
  • Perform routine system checks and maintenance tasks
  • Educate customers on how to use various products and services
Main Role and Responsibilities
  • Offer comprehensive Desktop and VoIP Support
  • Diagnose problems for end-users, recommend corrective solutions, and perform remote troubleshooting
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user and network hardware, VoIP devices, printing/scanning devices, software, and other products
  • Administer desktop tools including Office 365 and Dropbox
Requirements
  • Ideal candidate has a degree in computer science or related field
  • Work from home as a full-time employee – Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm, weekends off
  • Must have a reliable internet connection of at least 10 Mbps (DSL or FIBR)
  • Need a quiet workspace conducive to productive work
Preferred Skills
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and written
  • Hands-on experience in hardware troubleshooting and equipment support
  • Experience with Application/System Maintenance activities
  • Bonus: Knowledgeable in SSL/TLS and REST APIs
  • Bonus: Familiarity with MySQL and SQL syntax
  • Bonus: Background in VoIP systems and network support including VoIP Software
  • Bonus: Experience with NodeJS, Python, and related technologies
