SharePoint Specialist

This role involves configuring, customising and maintaining SharePoint Online to support collaboration, data management and digital transformation initiatives across the organisation.

The successful candidate will contribute to developing AI-driven search and FAQ tools for improved knowledge management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Configuration
  • Configure and customise SharePoint Online sites, subsites, lists, libraries and metadata to meet business requirements.
  • Develop page layouts, web parts and workflows to support business processes and improve productivity.
  • Document Management
  • Set up secure and user-friendly document libraries, team sites and communication sites to facilitate information sharing.
  • Access Control
  • Implement and manage user permissions, access levels and content governance to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Automation
  • Integrate Power Automate and Power Apps to automate workflows and streamline operations.
  • Collaboration
  • Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and configure solutions that meet their needs.
  • Tech Support
  • Provide technical support, training and guidance to SharePoint users to ensure they can effectively utilise the platform.

Knowledge of HTML, CSS or JavaScript for customisation is desirable.

Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science or related field.
  • 5 years of proven experience configuring and managing SharePoint Online.
  • Strong knowledge of site structure, lists, libraries and permissions.
  • Experience with setting up SharePoint applications and integrating with Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or VBA.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.
