Our store is looking for a seasoned leader to fill the role of Assistant Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, providing leadership and direction to your team, and performing operational activities throughout the store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver legendary customer service through our GURA principles: greet the customer, uncover their needs and wants, recommend product solutions, and ask to add value and appreciate the customer.
  • Assist the Store Manager in store operations, including driving sales and profit, customer loyalty, planning, prioritization, and delegating daily tasks.
  • Support the Store Manager in Team Member counseling, hiring/staffing decisions, scheduling, training, and maintaining a productive work environment.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, transport and make deposits, resolve customer complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Champion the customer experience in the store and execute the role of the GURA Sales Leader.
Requirements
  • Previous retail leadership experience is required.
  • Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Team members must have the physical and mental stamina and ability to move quickly and safely throughout the store and outdoor areas.
Working Conditions
  • Working environment is favorable, generally working inside with moderate noise.
  • Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
