Job Role Overview

The role of an HR Administrator involves supporting the HR team with various administrative tasks, including employee document management, creating and maintaining standardised employee folder structures, and migrating employee documents from different platforms into a single consolidated filing system.

The successful candidate will also develop and maintain templates for recruitment and selection processes, including interview guides and phone screen questionnaires. Additionally, they will ensure all HR policies, procedures, and forms are rebranded according to current guidelines and uploaded onto the company's document management system.

In this role, you will collaborate with other teams to flag employees requiring medical clearance and provide ad-hoc HR administrative support as required by the HR team. Maintaining confidentiality and security of all employee records and sensitive information is essential.

  • Employee Document Management: Responsible for managing and organising employee documents, including creating and maintaining standardised employee folder structures.
  • Template Development and Maintenance: Develop and maintain templates for recruitment and selection processes, including interview guides and phone screen questionnaires.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Assist in preparing and supporting internal and external audits.
  • General Administration: Provide ad-hoc HR administrative support as required by the HR team.
Key Responsibilities and Skills Required
  • 2-5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the mining and minerals, processing, oil & gas or heavy industries.
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with HRIS software would be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of record keeping and audit processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
