The Wellbeing Counselor will be responsible for delivering one-on-one check-in sessions and counseling to address psychological health issues. They will also design and deliver group sessions aimed at building resilience, developing healthy coping strategies, and fostering positive working relationships.

This is a challenging role that requires the ability to work with employees who have been exposed to harmful content. The ideal candidate will have experience in cross-cultural counseling and be able to demonstrate sensitivity and competence when working with diverse backgrounds.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Deliver one-on-one check-in sessions and counseling to address psychological health issues using short-term resilience strategies such as cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based therapies.
  • Design and deliver group sessions aimed at building resilience, developing healthy coping strategies, and fostering positive working relationships.
  • Work with site coordinators and other regional leads to drive mental health and wellbeing activities with a focus on enhancing employee resiliency and minimizing psychological risks in the content moderation space.
  • Assess cases for trauma related to exposure to graphic content, follow escalation protocols, and triage employees to appropriate support pathways.
  • Manage confidential case records and reports safely and in line with privacy protocols.

Minimum hiring qualifications include:

  • A Master's degree in psychology, psychotherapy, counseling, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of post-graduate clinical experience delivering individual and group coaching sessions across the mental health spectrum with a focus on workplace-related mental health issues.
  • Proven experience in cross-cultural counseling demonstrating sensitivity and competence with diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with employees, managers, and team members.
  • Strong data management skills while ensuring accurate handling of sensitive information.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills effectively handling multiple tasks and responsibilities in a dynamic setting.
