Job Title: Collections / Cash Apps Specialist

Collections Specialists play a vital role in our global organization by working efficiently to collect cash from customers.

  • They manage high-volume multi-currency ledgers, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon terms and conditions.
  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships both internal and external is also a key responsibility. This involves considering cultural and regional differences to achieve effective communication.
  • The specialists handle queries and investigations, liaising with other departments to ensure swift resolutions of queries and efficient OTC flow.
  • Another important task is cash allocation, assisting with the identification of payments and ensuring that short-paid reasons are correctly categorized and resolved within the month payment was received.
  • Process final notices, work with internal stakeholders, and take appropriate levels of action in cases of non-payments, including account closure and service termination as necessary.
  • All document processes must be followed, and DOA approvals must be adhered to at all times.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of successful cash collecting in a busy global AR team for at least 3 years.
  • Tenacious and professionally assertive individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with accounting systems are essential.
  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical colleagues is crucial.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage workload involving multiple tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Self-starters and proactive thinkers who can identify opportunities for improvement.
