Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Collections Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a pivotal role in working with customers to facilitate timely payments and maintain positive relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Multi-Currency Ledgers: Ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms, maintaining accurate records and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Develop Customer Relationships: Foster strong internal and external connections, developing trust and driving business growth.
  • Query Handling and Investigation: Respond promptly to customer queries, investigate issues, and liaise with other departments for swift resolutions.
  • Process Final Notices: Take necessary actions in cases of non-payment, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Document Processes: Adhere to established document processes, obtaining approvals as required.
  • Cash Collection Targets: Enable the business to meet its cash collection targets through effective communication and negotiation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in cash collecting in a busy global AR team.
  • Tenacious and Professionally Assertive: Demonstrate tenacity and professionalism in all interactions with customers and colleagues.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with hands-on experience with accounting systems.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-Starter: A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
