Job Title: Schedule Optimization Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Schedule Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for optimizing delivery routes across the US, ensuring efficient transportation of goods from one location to another.

Your primary objective will be to analyze driver schedules, customer needs, and service level due times to create the most effective routes possible. This involves strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

In addition to route optimization, you will communicate directly with customers via phone and email to resolve any issues that may arise during the delivery process. You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide direct, efficient communication and immediate feedback to drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize delivery routes to meet customer needs and reduce transportation costs.
  • Analyze driver schedules and make adjustments as necessary to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and drivers to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Stay up-to-date with new software technologies and adapt to changing market conditions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
