About the Role
  • We are seeking an experienced cloud system admin to manage AWS, Google Cloud infrastructure, and multi-cloud environments.
  • The ideal candidate will oversee network and server monitoring, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • This role requires creating and automating alerting and monitoring system logs to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • A successful DevOps engineer will design tools to mitigate weaknesses in incident management or software delivery, minimizing downtime and improving overall efficiency.
  • Responsibilities also include troubleshooting Support Escalation requests, resolving technical issues, and providing timely solutions.
  • New hardware and software upgrades, installations, and configurations will be performed by the DevOps engineer to meet company objectives.
  • Security protocols and procedures will be implemented to prevent potential threats and protect our systems.
  • User accounts will be created, and access control managed by the DevOps engineer.
  • Detailed diagnostic tests and debugging procedures will be performed to optimize computer systems.
  • Documentation of processes, data backup, and archiving will be maintained by the DevOps engineer.
  • Data retrieval and recovery procedures will be developed and implemented.
  • An efficient end-user feedback and error reporting system will be designed and implemented by the DevOps engineer.
  • Mentoring and supervising IT department employees, providing IT support, and staying up-to-date with advancements and best practices in IT administration will also be part of the role.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or similar field.
  • Applicable professional qualification, such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco certification.
  • At least two years' experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
  • Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
