Contract management is a crucial aspect of any project, particularly in the EPC sector. As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from development to execution.

Responsibilities
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance throughout the engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
  • This role involves managing risk assessment, claims management, and contract negotiation while collaborating with EPC contractors, Owner's Engineers, OEMs, and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Your key responsibilities will include subcontractor engagement, variation and claim management, and strategic risk analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
  • You will draft and negotiate comprehensive contracts, defining project scope, timelines, costs, payment terms, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Alignment with client requirements, regulatory standards, and internal policies is essential.
  • You must interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules, understanding the contractual and legal implications of design and construction deliverables in contracts.
  • All project activities, including subcontractor execution and procurement milestones, must adhere strictly to the terms of the main contract.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or a Master's in Engineering, Project Management, or Business is preferred.
  • You must have at least 3–5 years of relevant experience in contract administration, commercial support, or claims management within the EPC sector.
  • Experience should include engagement with EPC contractors, Owner's Engineers, OEMs, and multi-disciplinary teams in a project development context.
  • Familiarity with managing subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and service contracts is essential.
  • You must be able to interpret contractual clauses related to scope, payment terms, variations, delays, force majeure, indemnities, and dispute resolution.
  • Proficiency in reviewing technical documents, engineering drawings, BOQs, and specifications to assess contractual impacts is required.
