
Financial Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong background in finance operations and a proactive attitude.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team to manage day-to-day transactional finance processes, including accounts payable and receivable, VAT preparation, and month-end reconciliations.
- Manage the finance inbox and accurately process supplier invoices, credit cards, and employee expenses in NetSuite.
- Raise purchase orders upon request and ensure alignment with financial records
- Prepare weekly payment runs for review and processing
- Send sales invoices, track payment status, and follow up with debtors as needed
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts and ensure transactional integrity
- Support the preparation and filing of VAT returns in compliance with UK tax standards
- Assist in the preparation of accruals, prepayments, fixed asset register maintenance, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Collate and prepare year-end data and support audit documentation requests
- Assist the Financial Controller with various finance-related projects and reporting tasks

Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process supplier invoices, credit cards, and employee expenses in NetSuite

- Support the preparation and filing of VAT returns in compliance with UK tax standards

Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Assist in the preparation of accruals, prepayments, fixed asset register maintenance, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Collate and prepare year-end data and support audit documentation requests
Finance Projects and Reporting:
- Assist the Financial Controller with various finance-related projects and reporting tasks
Qualifications and Skills:
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Professional certification in finance or accounting (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in finance operations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in NetSuite and Microsoft Office
