
Global Business Development Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Business Development team globally. This critical role reports to the Chief Sales Officer and involves developing and implementing strategies to achieve aggressive growth goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to exceed quarterly and annual new business pipeline generation targets.
- Expand the Business Development team using proven strategies.
- Support BDRs through onboarding, ramp-up, and ongoing coaching and development to ensure consistent goal attainment.
- Maintain a solid understanding of Cofense's technology stack to support the BDR team with lead follow-up and proactive outreach.
- Conduct weekly 1:1 review meetings and hold daily team 'huddles' to share best practices.
- Coach direct reports on strategies to increase conversion rates across the board to create more pipeline.
- Build strong working relationships with Marketing, Regional Sales Directors, Sales Operations, Recruitment, and HR teams.
- Attend weekly Sales Team meetings to maintain alignment with the Field Sales team.
- Monitor the team's performance against key KPIs and drive the team forward to exceed expectations.
- Demonstrable understanding of the Business Development role.
- Expertise in coaching and leading business development teams to success.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks to successful completion.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of information security concepts.
