Artificial Intelligence Developer Role Overview

This Artificial Intelligence Developer role is crucial in driving innovation and adoption of AI across various functions within the bank.

The ideal candidate will be part of a Function Squad focused on FinCrime, with resources augmented from partners.


Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Data Solutions: Delivering, building and maintaining data-driven solutions that are core to Group Operations strategy.
  • Business Innovation: Providing thought leadership in data science techniques and business applications to unlock the value of bank's data sets and external information. Continuously evaluating new data sources, potential analytics partners, tools, talent and infrastructure.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Displaying exemplary conduct and adhering to the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Key Stakeholders: Business Analysts, Business Partners, COO Business, ITO, CDO, internal staff, clients and third-party vendors.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) to build and deploy production-grade machine learning models.
  • Languages: English

Role-Specific Technical Competencies
  • Building and deploying ML models to detect and prevent financial crimes, reducing fraud losses.
  • Implementing Generative AI solutions to generate synthetic data for training, improving model accuracy in FinCrime and Compliance use cases.
  • Mentoring and guiding a team of ML engineers and data scientists, fostering technical excellence and innovation within FinCrime and Compliance.
