Senior SQL Developer Position

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining database tables, stored procedures, and supporting objects using SQL Server 2012 or later.

You will also be responsible for building and supporting operational reports for company and clients, working closely with the data team to provide operational support, resolve recurring problems, and document database topology and architecture.

Responsibilities
  • Develop SSIS projects to handle ETL, transmission, encryption, and archiving of files received and generated.
  • Design and develop analytical skills to resolve technical problems and identify root causes for issues.
  • Document database processes, procedures, and architectures.
  • Work with project managers to ensure that reports and metrics identify business needs and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with the data team to resolve technical problems and implement solutions.
Qualifications
  • Requires a four-year degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
  • Minimum five years working as a Database engineer or a related role.
  • Minimum of three years SSIS experience
  • Extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server 2012 or later.
  • Experience with C# and/or VB.NET programming languages.
  • Technical knowledge of MS SQL Server internals with emphasis on query performance.
