The Role

As a Family Care Advocate, you will be working closely with real families who need our support. Your role is to empower underserved families to take the transformative step of accessing care. You will be responsible for collecting, reviewing, and accurately tracking required documentation from caregivers and families.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and reviewing documents, such as IDs, certifications, and health records.
  • Conducting outbound calls and responding to inbound inquiries to provide clear guidance to families throughout the documentation process.
  • Managing a high volume of daily phone interactions (60–70 calls), demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
  • Verifying that all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with state regulations and Medicaid/Medicare requirements.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have extensive experience in customer service, administrative support, or healthcare-related roles. You should also possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Additionally, you should be proficient in CRM systems, shared drives, and/or document management tools. Ability to handle multiple priorities, manage follow-ups, and consistently meet deadlines is essential.
