Financial Leadership Role

About the Position:

The company is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting systems, ensure legal and regulatory compliance, and lead audits and budgeting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing comprehensive financial reports for senior management and external agencies on a regular basis
  • Conducting thorough project cost analyses, including reviews of sales and marketing expenditures, sales orders, and purchase orders
  • Providing insightful financial information and interpretations
  • Developing risk management strategies to minimize financial exposure
  • Maintaining strong relationships with external auditors, bankers, and statutory organizations
  • Coordinating internal and external audits, and preparing fiscal documentation
  • Leading the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
  • Developing and implementing budget forecasts
  • Monitoring and interpreting cash flows, and predicting future trends
  • Managing the Finance and Accounting team, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, bank and account reconciliations, billing, coding, and payments
  • Federal and state tax reporting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA certification
  • Demonstrated experience with USA accounting systems
  • At least 5 years of experience managing full accounting duties in a medium- or large-size organization
  • In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proficiency with ERP accounting software, Microsoft Dynamics
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • High professional standards and ethics, with an ability to handle confidential information
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask
  • Performance management of support staff
  • Experience coordinating internal and external audits
