Controller

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Controller to join our team. This is a leadership role for a seasoned finance professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

This individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations while driving structure, internal controls, and financial processes that ensure accuracy, compliance, and scalability.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with deep expertise in US GAAP, a strong operational mindset, and a proven ability to manage audits, accounting teams, and financial processes in complex, high-volume environments.

  • Ensure financial statements are prepared in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Design, implement, and improve internal controls, accounting systems, and financial processes.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing accounting team; ensure clear delegation, performance tracking, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee accounting operations, including AP, AR, month-end close, general ledger management, tax filings, and audit preparation.
  2. Drive process improvements and standardization across the finance function.
  3. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • 12–15 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 5 years in a Controller or senior leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in US GAAP and tax compliance requirements.
  • Strong experience managing audits and working with external auditors.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in leading accounting teams and managing people in a remote setting.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a process-driven mindset.
