Job Description

We are seeking a skilled BIM Modeler to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating coordinated discipline parametric models for analysis and documentation, providing project teams with engineering information and other data from project information models as required, producing BIM deliverables according to industry/project/company standards, adopting automation on projects as part of workflow, ensuring compliance to BEP and LOD requirements, providing technical support to less experienced staff, delegating and reviewing key activities of team members, ensuring project deliveries according to agreed timeline and quality, representing the group in internal meetings, and providing regular updates/reports of drawing/model status to project leads.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, 6 months to 5 years of relevant experience in 2D drawing production/3D parametric modelling of project information models, good knowledge and skill in mechanical/piping modelling using Plant 3D, proficient technical skills in CAD/BIM and design review applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks, programming skills in Dynamo are desired but not required, knowledgeable in BIM software interoperability with other engineering design software, experience with BIM360 and ProjectWise setup is preferred, familiar with model LOD/LOI requirements and understanding of basic engineering principles, and ability to work with a team and independently with minimal supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 6 months to 5 years of relevant experience in 2D drawing production/3D parametric modelling of project information models.
  • Good knowledge and skill in mechanical/piping modelling using Plant 3D.
  • Proficient technical skills in CAD/BIM and design review applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
  • Programming skills in Dynamo are desired but not required.
  • Knowledgeable in BIM software interoperability with other engineering design software.
  • Experience with BIM360 and ProjectWise setup is preferred.
  • Familiar with model LOD/LOI requirements and understanding of basic engineering principles.
