Senior Tax Professional

A seasoned tax expert with extensive experience in Australian tax advisory services is required to manage a portfolio of clients, oversee financial affairs, ensure tax compliance, and deliver high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of Australian tax regulations and guidelines, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

Tax Management:

  • Manage client portfolios from end to end, ensuring tax compliance and delivering high-quality results.
  • Prepare and complete year-end financial statements and tax returns for individuals, businesses, and entities in accordance with Australian tax laws.
  • Manage BAS and IAS lodgments, payroll tax, FBT, Division 7A compliance, and liaise with the ATO to address any issues.

Advisory Services:

  • Support the delivery of virtual CFO services, including budgeting, cash flow forecasting, KPI tracking, and preparation of management reports as required by clients.
  • Prepare quarterly and monthly reporting packs that compare actuals against budgets and benchmarks, offering insights into variances and performance trends.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Extensive 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Australian tax within an accounting firm, specializing in SMEs.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Australian tax regulations and guidelines.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
