We are seeking an experienced Financial Leader to drive financial performance and strategy for our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Planning: Develop, implement, and manage financial plans to achieve business objectives.
- Financial Operations & Compliance: Oversee payroll, superannuation, ATO liabilities, bill approvals, and tax obligations.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Provide accurate financial reporting, analysis, and insights to inform business decisions.
- Expense Monitoring & Cash Flow Management: Track spending, manage cash flow, and ensure timely settlement of financial obligations.
- Leadership & Team Development: Foster a high-performing team, promoting collaboration, and driving results-driven behavior.
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA qualification with post-graduate qualifications highly regarded.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior financial role, preferably in a non-profit or community organization setting.
- Strong knowledge of Australian financial regulations, including ASIC and ACNC frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Xero, MS Excel/Google Sheets, and Salesforce.
