Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accounting Consolidation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and footnotes in accordance with US GAAP.

The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. They will also be proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements and footnotes in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Schedule Maintenance: Maintain various schedules supporting financial statements and disclosures.
  • Reconciliations and Journal Entries: Prepare reconciliations and journal entries for intercompany activities, including equity method of accounting, fixed assets, leased assets, and POC accounting.
  • Standalone Financial Statements Review: Review standalone financial statements of subsidiaries to understand operations and ensure accurate disclosures.
  • ERP System Proficiency: Work extensively with ERP systems, building customized reports for data analysis and reconciliations.
  • Process Improvements: Suggest and support process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Month-End Close Support: Support the corporate accounting team during month-end close.
  • Auditor Support: Assist external auditors by providing necessary documentation and information.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting: A bachelor's degree in accounting is required, with CPA or equivalent international certification being a plus.
  • Progressive Accounting Experience: 6-10 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, including consolidations and US GAAP reporting.
  • Technical Accounting Expertise: Strong technical accounting expertise, especially in intercompany eliminations.
  • ERP Systems and Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts and analyze large datasets accurately.
