Support Financial Operations Specialist

The Financial Operations Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. This individual will work closely with senior finance leaders to provide critical support in various aspects of financial operations.
\- Monthly Close Process: The specialist will assist in generating TB on a GAAP basis, including work-in-process, account analysis, bank reconciliations, and preparing account analysis.
- Financial Reporting: Working closely with the Controller, the specialist will upload TB to the company's FRP (financial reporting package) managed through the Vena consolidation software each month with comparison to budget and prior periods.
- Revenue Methods: The specialist will record WIP monthly based on reports, using Time Card (hourly), Upon completion of task (including inspections), Lump Sum projects.
- Budget/Forecasting: Assisting in preparing budgets for each entity and consolidated basis, working closely with senior finance leaders, the specialist will ensure accurate forecasting.
- Entity Integration: The specialist will manage monthly close, bank reconciliations, budgets, and internal controls for entities recently acquired by the company as they integrate into the company systems and banking.
Requirements include a Bachelor degree in Accounting, licensed CPA, and at least 5 years' experience in finance or accounting department at a mid-size to large entity with multiple entities. Experience in Consolidation and GAAP accounting, Advanced MS Excel knowledge, and experience with integrated accounting systems are also required.
