Job Title: Senior Billing Specialist

This role is a key part of our business's growth strategy, focusing on the efficient management and optimization of our subscription-based billing processes.

As a senior member of our finance team, you will take ownership of our end-to-end billing operations, ensuring accurate and timely execution of subscription lifecycles, dispute representment, and financial reporting.

  • Manage subscription lifecycles in Stripe, including new setups, plan changes, proration, cancellations, reconciliations, and revenue tracking.
  • Own dispute representment, preparing and submitting evidence packets to protect company revenue.
  • Execute and maintain billing workflows in HubSpot, automating tickets and cross-team communication for seamless process execution.
  • Support month-end close, including AR aging reports, reconciliations, and cash collection forecasting.
  • Investigate delinquencies, analyzing root cause and adjusting accounts as needed, with optional outbound collections calls/emails.
  • Partner with Sales & Customer Success to ensure accurate subscription data and drive process improvements.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of hands-on billing and accounts receivable experience in a SaaS or subscription business.
  • Proven expertise with Stripe Subscriptions (beyond invoice/payment processing).
  • Direct experience preparing and submitting dispute representment evidence.
  • Strong knowledge of HubSpot for AR/billing workflows.
  • Familiarity with collections outreach, but prioritizing process and data solutions over direct interactions.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for reconciliations, AR aging, and reporting.
