Senior Billing Specialist Role Overview

This is a dynamic role that involves leading the subscription billing lifecycle from end-to-end.

Key responsibilities include managing subscription setup, plan changes, proration, cancellations, reconciliations, and revenue tracking.

Experience with Stripe Subscriptions and dispute representation is essential for success in this position.

The ideal candidate will have advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable owning critical AR processes in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a seasoned professional who can take ownership of our billing operations, execute billing workflows in HubSpot, and support month-end close.

  • Manage subscription lifecycles: new setups, plan changes, proration, cancellations, reconciliations, and revenue tracking.
  • Own dispute representation: prepare and submit evidence packets to protect company revenue.
  • Execute and maintain billing workflows in HubSpot.
  • Support month-end close: AR aging reports, reconciliations, and cash collection forecasting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands-on billing and accounts receivable experience in a SaaS or subscription business.
  • Proven expertise with Stripe Subscriptions (not just invoice/payment processing).
  • Direct experience preparing and submitting dispute representation evidence to banks/payment processors.
  • Strong knowledge of HubSpot for AR/billing workflows.
  • Familiarity with collections outreach (calls + email), but with a bias toward solving process and data issues behind delinquency.
