Compliance Medical Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Compliance Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Compliance Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of medical records and billing information.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and processing medical records for completeness and accuracy
  • Ensuring that all billing information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Communicating with healthcare providers and patients to clarify any discrepancies or issues
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to medical records and billing

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in medical assisting or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
