Job Description

As a Workday Certified Time and Absence Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring successful deployments by architecting, configuring, and testing Workday solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients. You will foster the development of other Consultants by sharing expertise and providing guidance on project management and requirements gathering.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and document client business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solution, and complete knowledge transfer to clients.

Additionally, you will work with confidential client/data conversion team to help convert legacy data into Workday and assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in the Workday Payroll product suite, with deep expertise and experience with Absence & Time Tracking
  • Lead the following as a member of a deployment team, or coach others to successfully: gather and document client business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solution, and complete knowledge transfer to clients
  • Work with confidential client/data conversion team to help convert legacy data into Workday
  • Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Current Workday Time Tracking Certification
  • 4+ years configuring and implementing a combination of Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking (PATT) Solutions
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company
  • Previous experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Functional experience in one or more of the following areas: Payroll, Absence and/or Time Tracking
