About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an ICT Technician. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical assistance to customers and colleagues alike.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide 1st and 2nd level desktop support to users, ensuring that all technical issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

You will be working closely with our network engineers to ensure that all hardware and software installations and routine upgrades are implemented according to service level agreements.

We are looking for someone with a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset, who is able to manage multiple problems at once and prioritize tasks effectively.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of technologies and systems, and to develop your skills and expertise in areas such as desktop hardware, software, and telephony.

Requirements
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant IT support experience coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Sound technical knowledge of desktop hardware and both standard and customized (in-house) software.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple problems at once and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Sound knowledge of the organisation's Standard Operating Environment (SOE).
  • Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.
