Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting functions, conducting financial analysis, and providing insights to support business units. They will also work closely with remote teams to ensure smooth financial operations across different geographies and time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and maintain budgets and financial forecasts; provide variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Financial Reports and Analysis: Create, automate, and improve comprehensive financial reports across functions to support strategic decision-making.
  • Recommendations: Deliver scheduled comprehensive updates and strategic recommendations based on financial records and analytical reports to ensure organizational financial hygiene, maximize profitability, and meet business objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification.

Experience:

  • 5+ years in accounting, financial analysis, AR/AP, month-end reconciliation.
  • 3+ years creating financial reports, ideally in e-commerce or remote/digital businesses.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Proficiency in financial data interpretation and reporting.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based ERP systems and financial modeling tools.
  • Excellent English communication skills (minimum C1 EFSET level).
  • Strong time management, multitasking, and attention to detail.
