Financial Services Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to deliver high-quality financial services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple clients effectively.

  • Manage and expand our client base through exceptional service delivery.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients by providing proactive and personalized support.
  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other regulatory documents for companies, trusts, and partnerships.
  • Handle calculations, preparation, and lodgement of BAS, IAS, and FBT returns for companies.
  • Advise clients on technical matters and offer a full range of services.
  • Prepare tax returns for individuals, including those with rental properties, capital gains, PSI, and sole traders.
  • Submit Super Guarantee Charge Statements and TPAR reports in a timely manner.
  • Deliver accurate and timely monthly financial reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within an accounting firm.
  • Strong working knowledge of key accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of tax agent portals, including the ATO Tax Agent Portal.
Desirable Technical Experience:
  • FBT (Fringe Benefits Tax) compliance.
  • CGT (Capital Gains Tax) management.
  • Division 7A compliance.
  • PSI (Personal Services Income) handling.
  • Tax planning expertise.
