We are looking for a skilled customer service representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the intake of members or admission/discharge information post notification. You will also work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and clinical teams to manage requests for services from members and/or providers.

Our ideal candidate will have experience working in high-volume customer service environments and have strong analytical skills. They should be able to create, edit, save and send documents using Microsoft Word and Excel. Additionally, they must be able to type and talk at the same time while navigating through multiple screens.

The successful candidate will be efficient, productive and thorough when dealing with our members over the phone. They must also be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evening hours. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the intake of members or admission/discharge information post notification
  • Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and clinical teams to manage requests for services from members and/or providers
  • Process incoming and outgoing referrals and prior authorizations
  • Provide triage and care coordination notifications
  • Handle member inquiries and resolve issues

Required Qualifications:

  • H.S Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems
  • Ability to create, edit, save and send documents using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to type and talk at the same time while navigating through multiple screens
