ERP Order Coordinator Job

Job Overview: As an ERP Order Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless order management and entry within our company's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Input and track customer orders: Accurately enter and manage customer orders within the ERP system, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with production, logistics, and sales teams.
  • Coordinate order status and changes: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor order progress, identify potential delays or issues, and suggest improvements in workflow where necessary.
  • Monitor production timelines: Regularly review production schedules and flag any potential discrepancies or bottlenecks that may impact order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation: Ensure all relevant records and documents related to orders and shipments are up-to-date and accurately maintained within the ERP system.
  • Support internal communication: Facilitate effective communication among teams to ensure alignment on fulfillment timelines and facilitate a smooth order management process.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities: Continuously assess and recommend solutions to enhance order flow and improve ERP accuracy, ultimately driving business growth and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience: Proven track record in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or packaging environment.
  • ERP system knowledge: Strong understanding of ERP systems, specifically SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite, and ability to effectively utilize these tools.
  • Excellent communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Attention to detail: High level of attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining accuracy and precision in all aspects of order management.
  • Organizational skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Flexible packaging industry experience: Familiarity with the flexible packaging industry and its specific challenges and opportunities.
  • US-based manufacturing experience: Understanding of US-based manufacturing processes and regulations.
  • Remote team experience: Experience working with remote teams and navigating virtual communication channels.
  • Process improvement background: Background in process improvement or operations analysis, with a focus on driving business efficiency and growth.

About the Role:

This is a remote, independent contractor position, requiring flexibility and self-motivation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
