Production Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, organize, and supervise daily production operations to ensure targets are met.
  2. Monitor workflow and adjust schedules to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime.
  3. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  4. Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and maintenance teams to secure resources and minimize disruptions.
  5. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  6. Track and analyze production data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
  7. Lead, coach, and motivate production staff, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
  8. Ensure proper training and development for production team members.
  9. Report production results, challenges, and management recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, workflow optimization, and quality control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Analytical thinker with problem-solving abilities and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in using production monitoring tools and reporting systems.
  • Experience in agriculture-based or FMCG manufacturing is an advantage
