Overview

This position entails talent acquisition for manufacturing roles, enhancing client and candidate experiences, and strengthening the brand.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in talent acquisition, particularly in the Japanese market, as well as experience with project strategy development and client relationship management.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver sourcing and hiring results while improving TA processes and capability.
  • Develop project strategy, including employer branding, sourcing, channels, assessment, and onboarding elements.
  • Build relationships with client stakeholders and position the organization as trusted partners.
  • Create job adverts using client brand guidelines and manage applications professionally.
  • Directly source and headhunt suitable candidates and screen applicants to present shortlists to decision-makers.
  • Guide Hiring Managers through the shortlist and manage the candidate journey with a professional approach.
Role Requirements
  • Japanese talent acquisition experience is critical.
  • Experience hiring for roles in the manufacturing space is essential.
  • Maintain the ATS and other systems.
  • Analyse business data and stay aware of market trends and competitor activity.
  • Comply with company standards on values and ethics.
  • Have a positive attitude that inspires coworkers and clients.
  • Be a generalist/corporate TA professional capable of managing a range of roles.
  • Fluency in Japanese is helpful; English proficiency is required.
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in scale-up environments recruiting on a multi-national basis is advantageous.
  • Demonstrable full-lifecycle recruiting experience in-house and/or with an agency.
  • Sell value proposition, negotiate, and close candidates.
  • Proven track record of closing requisitions with quick turnaround.
  • Collaborative approach to work with stakeholders.
