The Transformation Manager role at Dover Business Services requires exceptional leadership skills to drive the implementation of transformation and transition initiatives, as well as optimization of finance processes and technologies. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and cost reduction in finance and accounting processes.

This highly visible role offers exposure to various responsibilities, projects, and complex assignments, providing opportunities to grow professionally. The ideal candidate will be able to oversee successful implementation of transformation and transition initiatives, manage a global team, and build close working relationships with leaders of DBS, OpCos, and IT.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement project management best practices, templates, etc., monitor dependencies across multiple interrelated projects, gather and report consolidated project status and financial information to leadership, identify project risks, and work with the stakeholders to mitigate while communicating with leadership
  • Manage the global Transformation team. Achieve a highly effective, efficient, and engaged team culture and ensure professional development of key resources
  • Lead or support transformation, optimization, and transition projects, including the accurate and timely design, build, execution, quality assurance, and delivery of the project or transition
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Financial Information Systems
  • 10+ years of accounting, auditing, and/or financial analysis experience
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
  • Global shared service center experience
  • Strong project management skills, including managing multiple deliverables simultaneously and demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and accomplish results
  • Strong communication skills, including experience working with a highly decentralized matrix organization and influencing others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures
