Job Description

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of accounting and controlling functions for a group of legal entities across multiple countries. This role involves maintaining robust financial controls, ensuring compliance with regional accounting standards, and preparing accurate financial reports.

Accountability includes:

  1. Preparing and approving financial statements for assigned entities, ensuring alignment with both legal and management reporting requirements.
  2. Presenting accurate monthly financial reports for management, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
  3. Leading the period-end close process for multiple entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, fixed asset transactions, and compliance monitoring.
  4. Ensuring timely and accurate compliance with statutory and tax requirements.
  5. Implementing internal financial controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and regional regulations.
  6. Collaborating with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance during financial audits.
  7. Monitoring and analyzing financial transactions to identify and mitigate risks across the region.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields.
  • CPA certification or Master's Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field.
  • At least 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with a focus on controllership functions and regional operations.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and regional accounting standards.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with multinational companies and diverse teams is an advantage.
