About the Opportunity:
The Area Sales Manager is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and communication skills. As an Area Account Director, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in your assigned region by developing and executing strategic plans, collaborating with the Marketing Department, and establishing relationships with key stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work with Representatives regularly to formulate, monitor, and improve selling plans and all sales-related activities
- Drive new product sales and act as a field resource to the Marketing Department during product development, new product introductions, and evaluations
- Establish relationships and create an environment to defend and preserve existing sales
- Attend quarterly planning calls with Sales Leaders and Representatives; plan/coordinate other appropriate regional sales meetings
- Manage and monitor sales expense budget; maintain ongoing assessment of expense-to-budget performance
Key Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in sales and business management
- Strong knowledge of the medical device industry and cardiovascular products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
