About This Position

As a Subject Matter Expert in Dental Billing, you will lead live training sessions and guide upskilling to ensure seamless and accurate billing operations. Your expertise will enable VA teams to navigate complex dental billing workflows, payer logic, and coding requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions on insurance verification, CDT coding, claims submission, EOBs, and denials management.
  • Lead interactive live and recorded sessions on billing documentation, audit-readiness, and system familiarity.
  • Design mock scenarios to enhance trainee skills and code accuracy.
  • Evaluate trainee progress through structured feedback and assessment tools.
  • Conduct Skills Evaluation Interviews to assess system use and knowledge gaps.
  • Develop micro-modules on denials, CDT updates, and workflow corrections.
  • Provide ongoing instruction and support for learners with questions around codes, payer rules, and patient communication.

Maintain HIPAA compliance across billing documentation and reinforce accuracy in ledgers and records.

Requirements
