We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in desktop hardware, software, and network troubleshooting, as well as excellent customer service skills.

The System Engineer will act as the first point of contact for end-users, resolving or escalating issues related to desktop hardware, software, network, and others. They will have effective communication and customer service skills and be able to troubleshoot end-user support issues quickly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Desktop Operating System Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Ensure that desktop operating systems are running smoothly and efficiently, identifying and resolving any technical issues that may arise.
  • Desktop Connectivity Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot connectivity issues related to desktop devices, ensuring that they can connect to networks and other systems seamlessly.
  • Application Installation and Support: Install and configure applications on desktop devices, providing support and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
  • Printer Installation and Support: Install and configure printers on desktop devices, ensuring that they are functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Client VPN Installation and Support: Install and configure client VPNs on desktop devices, ensuring that users can access remote networks securely.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Support: Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for Microsoft Office Suite applications on desktop devices.
  • Desktop Antimalware Administration and Resolution: Administer and resolve antimalware issues on desktop devices, ensuring that they are secure and free from malware.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and Experience: A bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in a related field, such as system administration or IT support.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in desktop hardware, software, and network troubleshooting, as well as experience with Windows domain desktop and end-user technical support.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with end-users and resolve technical issues quickly.
