**Job Description**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Paraplanner.

The successful candidate will work closely with advisors to prepare and implement comprehensive financial plans for clients. This involves conducting research on insurance products, financial concepts, superannuation, and tax strategies.

You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial needs analysis reports to support the development of financial plans. These reports will form the foundation for the advice provided to clients.

In addition, you will collaborate with advisors to identify appropriate investment strategies based on client needs and goals. You will also attend client meetings with advisors to present and review financial plans.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3 years of experience as a Paraplanner or in a similar role in the insurance industry (preferred)
  • Accounting or similar experience (highly advantageous)
  • Strong numerical and logical reasoning skills
  • Good with math and comfortable working with numbers
  • Familiarity with legal documents related to insurance products
  • A desire to become an expert in both insurance products and advice preparation
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
  • Meticulous attention to detail, especially in calculations and materials prepared
