Financial Planning Assistant - Senior


The ideal candidate for this role will be a detail-oriented and highly skilled professional with experience preparing comprehensive financial plans, conducting product comparisons, and performing strategy modelling in areas such as superannuation, insurance, and pensions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tailored financial strategies for clients in conjunction with senior planners.
  • Prepare Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs) in line with compliance requirements.
  • Conduct product research and analysis to support informed decision-making.
  • Assist in the setup and structuring of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) for property investment.
  • Utilize financial planning software such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research and documentation.
  • Ensure all financial plans and recommendations comply with regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client service.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a paraplanning or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to model financial strategies effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
