Job Summary

The successful candidate will support the bid team in researching, drafting and submitting high-quality proposals tailored to win contracts. This role involves working collaboratively with internal departments while adhering to deadlines and ensuring compliance with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Development:
    • Assist in drafting and editing responses to Invitations to Tender
    • Tailor bid content to accurately address client needs and highlight company strengths
  • Collaboration:
    • Liaise with colleagues across departments, such as sales, finance and project management, to collect information for proposals
    • Incorporate stakeholder feedback into bid documentation
  • Compliance and Quality Control:
    • Proofread all bid documents for grammatical accuracy and adherence to client specifications
    • Ensure proposals comply with corporate branding and quality standards
  • Research and Information Gathering:
    • Conduct market and client research to shape tender responses effectively
    • Maintain a database of prior bids and responses for future use
  • Project Coordination:
    • Track and report on bid progress against set timelines
    • Support the maintenance of a bid calendar, ensuring alignment with submission deadlines
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and work effectively under pressure
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and bid management tools
  • Experience or strong knowledge in bid writing, marketing or project planning
