Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled test automation specialist to join our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust test automation solutions using your in-depth knowledge of automation frameworks and best practices.

You will work independently within our established automation framework to tackle challenging yet well-defined automation tasks, leveraging your understanding of specialized testing principles and methodologies to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test automation scripts for various functionalities.

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in software testing or a related field, with a strong background in test automation and a thorough understanding of core testing principles and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automated test strategies and test cases with minimal supervision.
  • Use debugging techniques to identify root causes of complex issues uncovered through automated testing.
  • Accurately document bugs with essential details, using the bug tracking system effectively.
  • Manage and track changes in code repositories efficiently.
  • Utilize intermediate to advanced knowledge of programming languages (JavaScript, Java, Python, TypeScript) to write test scripts or understand code for test automation.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Generate detailed test result reports, present findings to stakeholders, and assist in maintaining the project knowledge base.
  • Participate in the analysis of current testing processes and suggest improvements under supervision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand deeper product requirements and ensure test coverage aligns with business goals.
