Job Title: Test Automation Engineer

Project-based role (6-months)

Work Set-up: Hybrid with 2x RTO weekly

Schedule: Nightshift (9PM-7AM)

Summary:

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in transforming testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function. Leveraging automation, innovative testing tools, and methodologies, you will significantly improve accuracy, integrity, and control of deliverables. This role requires building intelligent, predictive testing approaches while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform independently and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in automation testing.
  • Actively participate and contribute in team discussions.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
  • Analyze test case results and provide insights on quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts and test frameworks.
  • Identify process gaps and propose/implement improvements.
  • Stay current with industry trends, frameworks, and best practices in automation testing.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in test automation.
  • Strong proficiency in Python (Programming Language) – writing clean, modular, and object-oriented code.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues effectively.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Robot Framework, including libraries such as SeleniumLibrary, RequestsLibrary, etc.
  • Experience with Selenium for UI automation.
  • Strong knowledge of locator strategies (XPath, CSS Selectors, dynamic element identification).
  • Expertise in exception handling within Robot Framework and Python scripts.
  • Experience analyzing test failures and providing efficient fixes.
  • Exposure to Salesforce applications.
