Job Description

The Legal Assistant is responsible for providing crucial support to the legal team by managing internal records, scheduling, and client conflict resolution.

This role plays a vital part in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring effective communication within the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage administrative tasks such as data management and record-keeping.
  • Provide comprehensive support to the legal team, including coordination of tasks and smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Assist in implementing and improving operational processes and workflows.
  • Conduct regular reviews of internal records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions for staff members and ensure that all necessary resources and materials are prepared.
  • Manage and prepare fortnightly schedules and reports, including tracking progress on key initiatives and summarizing operational activities.
  • Track and manage client conflict resolution efforts, including recording issues and monitoring resolution progress.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal or administrative support role.
  • Experience in operations support, record management, or client service is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in administrative support or legal assistance are a plus.
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
