Key Responsibilities:
  • Consolidate financial statements across multiple subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Partner with operating company controllers to close monthly books, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements.
  • Oversee holding company accounting functions, including payroll and accounts payable, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Support annual tax filings, audits, and purchase price accounting during acquisitions, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable accounting policies and processes that foster growth and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is mandatory. Proven experience in accounting leadership roles, preferably with exposure to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and consolidation.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and independent decision-making skills to navigate fast-paced environments and drive business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
  • A self-starter with the ability to thrive in startup-like environments with evolving policies and procedures.
