About the Position:

In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of a truck fleet, working closely with drivers, 3PL teams, and other stakeholders to optimize truck deployment and ensure timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Truck Fleet Management:
    • Manage a fleet of trucks to meet operational requirements.
    • Monitor and analyze utilization rates to avoid delays or shortages.
    • Collaborate with drivers and 3PL teams to optimize truck deployment.
  2. Scheduling and Coordination:
    • Develop and implement an effective scheduling system to allocate trucks for various tasks and routes.
    • Communicate with operational teams to adapt to changing demands or unexpected schedule changes.
  3. Fleet Performance Monitoring:
    • Track and analyze key metrics such as availability, maintenance status, and performance efficiency.
    • Report on findings to senior management and recommend improvements.
  4. Inventory and Equipment Management:
    • Understand and monitor partner truck inventory, including acquisition of new partners or replacement units.
  5. Communication and Reporting:
    • Act as primary contact for truck-related issues within the operation.
    • Provide regular updates on truck availability, issues, and performance to senior management.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet management.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize based on operational demand.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Amenable to being assigned in Silangan, Calamba, Laguna.
