Debt Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and professional Collections Representative to join our team. As a Collections Representative, you will be responsible for contacting customers regarding overdue accounts via phone and email, negotiating payment arrangements and settlements, updating account information and payment statuses, following up on broken promises and missed payments, adhering to compliance and regulatory standards, maintaining detailed records of all collection activities, and meeting or exceeding daily and monthly collection targets.
Candidate Requirements:- You must be at least 18 years old.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is necessary.
- You should have strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- You should be able to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Familiarity with debt collection laws and practices is a plus.
- Prior experience in collections or customer service is preferred.
This role requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will be working closely with customers to resolve outstanding balances while maintaining a respectful and empathetic approach.
