
Support Specialist

The role involves providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers via phone, email, or chat. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include sales and customer support activities, order management and customer service activities, training, and miscellaneous activities. The individual must be able to manage all calls in a professional, timely and appropriate manner, answer incoming customer calls, emails, or chat requests for information and resolution of issues or sales inputs within defined SLAs.
- Sales and Customer Support Activities:
- Achieve sales goals and contact center metrics;
- Contribute to team achievement of service metrics and all contact center goals;
- Manage all calls in a professional, timely and appropriate manner. Answer incoming customer calls, emails, or chat requests for information and resolution of issues or sales inputs within the defined SLA;
- Order Management and Customer Service Activities:
- All transactions performed accurately and meeting departmental SLAs;
- Enter orders into system pursuant to individual order characteristic requirements. Orders may be received via email, chat, telephone, or other relevant sources/channels.
- Training:
- Attend all required trainings and displays appropriate knowledge of materials;
- Attend Contact Center training and achieve a passing mark in the assessments.
- Miscellaneous Activities:
- Assist the Contact Center Team with administrative duties as assigned;
- Perform all other duties as designated by Management.
- Associate's/Bachelor's Degree;
- Minimum of one-year previous sales/customer service experience, preferably in a related industry;
- Experienced contact center professional, effective telephone, chat, email techniques and customer care.
- Personal computing or keyboarding/data entry;
- Moderate knowledge of Excel required;
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal required.
